Founders Steve and Chantel decided to start a practice together because they realised that they shared similar values of compassion, healing, and connection; not only for themselves, but most especially for those seeking counselling. As much as their personalities provide a balanced perspective, they have different specialities that suit your distinct needs.
At Cornerstone Counselling Group, we want to help you make a positive difference in your life. From individuals to couples, families to group therapy approaches, we are well-equipped with the training and experience to meet your unique goals.
We have integrated our worldviews with research-based therapeutic modalities to serve clients from all walks of life, faith backgrounds, cultures, and sexualities. We continue to seek professional development and training not only for our own growth, but also so you are receiving the most current treatment available. We can help you work towards insight, increase self-awareness, overcome trauma, process grief, and/or further your personal development.
About Our Services
The client understands that sessions are 50 minutes for individual sessions and 80 minutes for couples sessions, unless otherwise determined and agreed upon by the counsellor and client(s). This fee is due at the end of each session. Fees cover the costs of the session, phone calls, handouts, preparation time, continuing professional development, clinical consultation, professional certification, and other operating costs. Payment for sessions can be made via cash, cheque, or credit card. All credit card payments are subject to an additional 2.83% fee. A receipt will be provided each session, if requested.
Cornerstone Counselling Group has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If for any reason the client needs to miss a session, please call your counsellor to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. The client understands that they will be financially responsible of the full session fee for any missed sessions in which they have not given 24 hours notice, payable at the next session.
There may be occasions where the counsellor must cancel an appointment. Every effort will be made to inform clients well in advance of the need to cancel an appointment but sometimes appointments have to be cancelled with short notice. If and when this situation arises, clients will be informed as soon as possible and efforts will be made to reschedule the cancelled appointment promptly.
We reserve a small percentage of our case load for a reduced fee, please contact us for more information.
Individual sessions: 50 minutes $100
